Karpov Kinrade have done a beautiful job in giving us further insight into Scarlett’s plight. She’s resilient, but she’s also human. Sort of. She’s also a nephilim. They’ve created a character who has to choose between the worlds she lives in. The pain and heartache she experiences at every turn makes Scarlett quite an endearing character.
Scarlett never willingly made the choice to become what she is now. This is a certainty the authors show us with every turn of the page. She’s been thrust into a world where people will do everything possible to achieve an end to their own means. It doesn’t matter if people are caught in the crossfire.
As Nightfall, Scarlett is determined in fixing what’s broken. To do so, she has to become something she’s not. Will she achieve her very goal? It’s hard to say. Nevertheless, I can’t wait to see if she’ll make good on her every goal.
