I love the chemistry that exists between Jessica and Jason. The banter they share amongst them doesn’t disappoint. Everything they say and do is so easy to envision, making you want to see and know more of the world around them. These are two characters who are determined in denying the fact that something exists between them. That, however, is easier said than done. Most especially when they’re around one another 24/7.

I love this new world Lisa is creating. Sweetwater is a departure from her usual turbulent books that surround millionaires and the women they meet along the way. It’s honestly a delight to see her write such a contemporary romance. It shows us just how much she keeps evolving her craft. From romantic thrillers to gory suspense, she delivers such interesting stories with so many diverse characters that you find yourself invested in the book itself by the time you get to the very end. So can’t wait for book 2!
