TFTSC banne

TFTSC cover For years the reindeer have done as Santa has asked. They’ve pulled his sleigh all over the world every Christmas as he delivers all sorts of wonderful presents to good children and lumps of coal to the bad. Never once have they complained, even when things have gone downhill on occasion. They know if they’re to get a slice of the ‘pie’, they’ll need to heed Santa’s decrees.

Yet this Christmas is different. The reindeer are tired. They’re cranky and displeased. They wish to have fun. To enjoy the season just as Santa does, but carting him and that enormous sleigh has gotten on their last nerve.

They’re unwilling to follow dear Santa’s demands. A strike is in order and they shan’t lift a finger . . . err hoof. Santa must listen to what they have to say. Changes are in order, or they shan’t pull the sleigh this very day.

The reindeer’s list grows and grows, full of demands for their beloved Santa. In their eyes, all they wanted was for Santa to acknowledge them, once and for all. To give them their due and thank them for all they’ve done for him.

To the reindeer’s surprise, nothing ever goes as planned. The end of Christmas looms around the corner. If it’s to be saved, headway must be made. The question is, how can either side achieve a bit of happiness, if neither one is willing to concede?

JM PictureAbout The Author:

Born into a body inhabited by multiple muse personalities, I create stories by stretching the “normal” beyond the boundaries of the absurd. The result is a worm-hole ride to the Far Side. I love a good story – so, I wrote one. Enjoy it with my wishes for a happy holiday season.
