Jennah Best is making the most of her life now that she’s out of a very destructive relationship. Immersing herself within her work at the Ridge police station, she’s content with the peacefulness that now surrounds her. Yet a part of her is also apprehensive. With the holiday’s around the corner, she yearns to have someone of her very own to have and to hold. Soon, she starts questioning her sanity when the man of her dreams literally starts appearing within her dreams.

Dominic Palmer has found himself within a rock and hard place with no means of finding a way out. He’s taken aback by the fact that he’s met a mystery woman within his dreams and slowly coaxes her out of her shell. The realization hits him that they’re both tied to one another in more ways than one. With time running out, he knows she’s his only link to the outside world. But can he entrust Jennah with all of his secrets without the enemy being none-the-wiser as to who he really is?

Jennah never expected to find the love of her life within a dream. Dominic Palmer is everything she could ever ask for and more. He’s treated her with respect since the day they met, even if there were a few white lies tucked in between. Yet she can’t fault him to keeping her in the dark about a few things as he’s done his best to protect her whenever possible.

Placed on lock-down for the time being, Dominic has grown impatient for action. He can’t stand the fact that he needs to remain incognito with a killer on the loose. His only saving grace is Jennah, who keeps him grounded every chance she can.

When a sadistic felon snatches her from under his very nose, he realizes just how much she means to him. Getting her back safely is his first, and only, priority. Enlisting the help of his friends, he’s determined to remain one step ahead of the bad guys. Little does he know, Jennah has a couple tricks up her own sleeve, as well, and she’s not going down without a fight.

After The Dream

Finding himself at loose ends, Brody wonders just what he’s gotten himself into. Now that Dominic no longer has to hide from those who tried to do him harm, he and his team have a new case set before them. Everything seems to go smoothly until the moment Tess makes it onto the scene. She makes his blood boil every time he lays eyes on her and aches so very much to make her his.

Thrown together in hopes of making sense of the evidence, the pair soon finds it a little hard to co-exist within such tight quarters. Yet co-exist they must if they intend to find any promising leads. As their attraction grows, they realize just how much they’ve come to mean to one another. No matter how much the tension mounts, one thing is clear – they’re both determined to fight tooth and nail for what they want and believe in, including the safety of those they love the most.

This was quite a steamy, and very enjoyable, read. A unique take on what it would be like if we were to meet the person of our dreams within a dream. The book is very fast-paced and keeps the reader riveted as he/she seeks to know more about what happens next between Jennah and Dominic. Totally recommend it.

Dominic realizes he is one of those men that wants the whole package of marriage and a family, and he’s found the woman to have that with. He’s going stir crazy having to stay hidden until the leader of a criminal organization is caught, but he’s more than willing to stay right here with her.

After the Dream:

Feeling less then worthy as a normal man surrounded by a team with special skills, Brody has to wonder why he’s a part of it. If it weren’t for one team mate being there, he’d transfer back to normalcy.

Tess has always felt like a freak, even surrounded by others that are different she still feels like an outsider. Only one of her team mates make her feel like an everyday person.
