For the past year, it’s been a little quiet around here. Changes have been coming for a while, and I’ve been doing my best to overcome a lot of things. Life hasn’t been hunky-dory, but I’m grateful for each day I’ve been blessed with.
I know a lot of people think I’ve probably fallen off the edge. That I’ve dropped out of existence altogether. The silence crackles. It really does.
I recently realized that I can’t keep hiding in the shadows. Though I’ve recently released a book, I haven’t had much urge to do much of anything. Mind you, I’ve been writing, just life and everything else coming my way has sucked the tenacity of doing what I want and need to do.
Little by little, however, I’ve been changing the way I do things. I’ve been reinventing myself, as well as my writing. I’ve started dabbling in genres I never thought of touching. This has caused new alter egos to pop out of the woodwork, though as it stands, I don’t think I’ll be releasing these different stories to the public yet. Reason being is, I want to focus on what I’d been putting together in the past.
Progress is slow, but I think it’s better to do things right rather than getting things out as is. When everything I’ve been working will be released, it’s hard to say. They’re coming, though, I can assure you on that.
