Until Then

Ne’er was there a day,
when I don’t think of you.
Where my heart doesn’t stop racing.
Where I know not what to do.

The moment you stepped into my life,
you took me completely by storm.
You transformed my entire world,
so that it’s no longer the norm.

I’ve never forgotten,
those tender moments we once shared.
The way you made me laugh.
The way you always showed me you cared.

I know that there were circumstances,
that drew us both apart.
But I’ll have you know,
that I hold you always close within my heart.

Perhaps some day,
I’ll get the chance to see you again.
To hold you close and never let go.
I can wait until then.
