Six Sentence Sunday – 9/25/2011
Posting my entry for Six Sentence Sunday today. For a full FAQ as to what this is, you can find it HERE.
Be sure to check out my previous installments for Six Sentence Sunday, as this is a continuation of that. Keep in mind that this story has no title, as of yet. My aim is to keep sharing 6 more sentences of this story with you all every Sunday as I go along. Hopefully, by the time, it’s said and done, the book will be completed and ready for release.
Enjoy!

The stallion, with its long arched neck, finely chiseled bone structure, and cropped tail, stopped within its tracks to nip at the mare’s heels. Leaning forward, I clutched the saddle’s nib tightly between my hands as my mind refused to believe that I was no longer at home, asleep in my own bed.
“Stop squirming,” said a voice; the deep, yet warm, baritone music to my ears.
A soft chuckle broke through the haze that seemed to hover across my face. This second inflection clearly belonged to a woman.
