Squandered Gifts

Most of you know I’ve been working on The Child Of Calamity series. There’s more to come for it, I assure you.

While I’m not sure what I’ll be doing with this short story I’ve written recently, I kind of like where it’s going, thus far. Mind you, this is different from the story I’ve set up for the series itself.

I haven’t decided yet if I’ll tie this to the series. Nevertheless, it’s new and fresh, and it gives my characters a slightly different aspect.

I started writing this story via a platform called Zathom. I love the fact that it gives you a three word writing promt and up to 55 words, allowing you to create a myriad of ideas. Be it a story, poetry, or nonfiction.

Squandered Gifts comes in three parts. Each section I wrote for each part consisted of almost 55 words. With six story sections per part, that’s a total of about 990 words for all three parts.

I’m honestly thinking of branching this out further. How, I’m not quite sure yet. Nevertheless, I’ll share the story with you all once I do.

You can find each part of the story via the following links:

I hope you all enjoy the story.
