Yet that all changes when she meets the elusive, and so very gorgeous, Calisto.

Deep inside, her heart and mind tell her that she knows who he is, while another part of her knows she never set eyes on him until recently. Something tells her she should stay away from him. He’s too good true to be true. Yet she knows she can only be faithful to her own heart and its determined in telling her she belongs with Calisto no matter what comes their way.

I truly enjoyed this story so very much. It’s premise was quite intriguing and I didn’t put the Kindle Fire down until I got to the very end of the book. I think Lisa painted such a vivid image of the world her characters live in and the love Calisto and Kate share is very palpable. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of spaces between some of the sentences. But other than that, the book is a very good read.

Lisa Kessler is an avid reader and writer of dark fiction. Her short stories have been published in print anthologies and magazines, and her vampire story, Immortal Beloved, was a finalist for a Bram Stoker award.
