#Review: Moonlight Prince – Karpov Kinrade
Arianna refuses to sit on the sidelines while the world around her continues to crash and burn. Ever since she discovered that her mother made a deal with the devil, she’s known nothing but pain and heartache. She promised herself she would do everything possible to break the ties that bind her to Hell. Doing so, however, hasn’t been easy.
Everywhere she turns, bloodshed and death follows. If she’s to succeed in restoring order to the realm itself, she’ll have to do things she’s never thought possible. Deep inside, she knows she can do what’s necessary. The cost of doing so, however, takes its toll by the second.
The final book in the Vampire Girl series, Moonlight Prince delves deeper into the circumstances surrounding Arianna’s plight. Her mission has taken a wayward turn, one she’s not sure she’ll get out of this time. She wishes she could undo what her mother’s done in the blink of an eye, though she knows it’s just wishful thinking. Using the limited resources available to her, she sets out to finally vanquish the Darkness, never once imagining the chaos that soon follows.
Karpov Kinrade have done a wonderful job in building this chaotic world. It’s a different take on all things Hell and the devil. An amusing one, at that. It’s sad to see the series end at just the fourth book, but the authors have ended the series in such a way that it gives each character closure. Mind you, I don’t think this the last we’ll see of Arianna and the Princes. Who knows? Perhaps the authors will put together spin-off books that will further tell the stories surrounding the various characters we’ve encountered throughout the series itself. A delightful, dark, and gritty series, this is one you’ll want to dive into time and again. It’s that good, believe me.
This is the last book in the Vampire Girl series.
