Unwilling to accept the curse that has been bestowed upon him, Ymir ventures to Old Ironbound, a university known to teach magic users control over the power flowing through their veins. In his mind, he’ll be able to find something that will help him get rid of the magic. At least that’s the plan, anyway. Never once does he imagine the craziness that ensues upon his stepping through the university’s doors. Nor did he ever think about the beautiful women who are more than willing to share his bed whenever they deem to do so.

An interesting start to the Princesses of the Ironbound series, Barbarian Outcast sends us straight into the fray when it comes to the grumpily enigmatic Ymir. This is a man who’s cursing his very existence. Where he comes from, his people aren’t magic users. His people work the land, living in contentment with the little they have. It irks him that he’s been shunned by those he loves. All because of the magic that now flows through his veins.

Aaron Crash is known to write different, and quite titillating stories. Barbarian Outcast is unique, yet it doesn’t deter from the author’s unique storytelling. I love the fact that he creates such diverse stories full of diverse characters. Characters that aren’t afraid of standing up for themselves whenever the need arises.

The author has set the stage for this new world he’s created. I’m honestly looking forward to what’s coming next for Ymir and the women that now surround him. Their worlds are full of numerous adversities. Whether they’ll overcome everything when the time comes remains to be seen. Nevertheless, it’ll be a trip worth taking as time goes by.

The lands to the South are full of depraved women driven mad by forbidden sorcery. Now that sounds like fun for a barbarian from the Black Wolf Clan.

The barbarians of the frozen north live to fight, drink, hunt, and screw, and Ymir is a true son of the Ax Tundra, until a demon curses him with magic. Orphaned by battle and banished by his tribe, Ymir heads south to Old Ironbound, a university where the rich and well-connected learn to master magic. Will Ymir’s traditions and pride lead him to failure? Or will the centuries of knowledge—and the lusty human, elven, orcish, and dwarven noblewomen—give him limitless power?

Either way, while his days are all about studying and scheming, his nights are filled with wild sex in the beds of beautiful women. Because in the lands of the South, there are few men, and those Southern women have needs.

Disclaimer: Barbarian Outcast is a steamy slice-of-life harem adventure in a magic university on another world. The sex scenes are explicit but don’t get in the way of the story as it slowly unfolds. Enter a brand-new world from Aaron Crash, the bestselling author of the American Dragon series.
