Poem: That Dark Abyss
Mar29
(Another random muse from last night.)
That Dark Abyss
Tumbling through that dark abyss.
Clawing for a hint of air.
Lost and so alone.
Searching . . . searching.
The darkness encroaches.
It engulfs me.
Pulling me down.
Down . . . down.
Death hovers.
This will be my tomb.
My home.
My resting place.
Dark . . . so dark.
Will you remember me?
