I thought I’d let the characters do the talking for this post. The two main characters of the book Megan and Alex have agreed to an interview. I hope you learn a little bit about them from this interview! Enjoy!

Megan smiles as she enters the living room. She sits in a chair across from Alex that is sitting on the couch.

Alex:  Megan, love have you been talking to the media?

Megan: No, but I heard we had to do an interview. I wish they had asked Morgan to do this she is the media type! Do you know who’s going to interview us?

Alex:  Yes, Lola was rather persuasive in convincing me that I should interview you love!

Megan: Oh, *raises eyebrow* persuasive how my dear Alexandros?

Alex leans in close to Megan, smiles, and runs the back of his finger across her cheek.

Alex: Never fear my love. You hold my heart in your hand to do as you will. But I guess we should talk a bit about our recent…hmm adventure if you will.

Megan: *blushes and smiles* Alex don’t give it all away! But this is your interview you take the lead. I’m ready when you are!

Sits back on the couch and taps his finger on his chin.

Alex: Take the lead huh… You say in Fate’s Design that you fell in love with Italy, did I have anything to do with the in love part?

Awkward silence in the room.

Megan: Uh… Well I uh… Yes and No! I sort of fell for Italy before I met you but of course you were an added bonus.

Alex: Add bonus, I’ll take that. Now tell me the moment you realized that I was not your average suitor?

Megan get’s comfortable in the chair and folds her arms across her chest.

Megan: The moment you decided to use the word suitor. *laughs* I’m kidding. The minute I bumped into you I thought you were way out of my league Alex. I mean look at you… You look like you should be in the Italian Vogue or something.

Alex: On the contrary, love, you were and are too good for me. I knew from that same moment we would be trouble but I like your type of trouble.

Megan: And what TYPE of trouble is that?

Megan’s brows furrow together and she narrows her eyes at Alex. He just smiles.

Alex: You are even more beautiful when you are angry. To answer your question the kind that would make a man do foolish things. Shall I divulge more love?

Megan: *blushes* No, I think you said enough! Aren’t you supposed to ask questions and not flirt Alex?

Alex: Oh, yes of course but your beauty…it distracts me. *looks at watch* actually, it would seem our time is up.

Megan: *exhales breathe* Thank goodness.

Alex: I hope Lola is satisfied with our interview.

Megan: *mumbles* She had better be satisfied.

Alex: What was that love?

Megan: *Smiles* Nothing!

Alex: Are you ready for lunch? I was thinking Spanish today for a change.

Megan: Where is there a Spanish restaurant?

Alex: *chuckles* In Barcelona!

Megan: *blank stare* As in Barcelona, Spain?

Alex holds his stomach he is laughing so hard.

Alex: Yes, I thought we would test out your Spanish.

Alex stands and holds his hand out for Megan.

Megan: That’s not funny Alex but I do love traveling with you!

She stands and takes his hand as they walk towards the door.

About The Author:

Lola James lives in southern California and is married with three beautiful children. She currently has a day job as a HR Manager but hopes to pursue her dream as a full-time writer. Somehow, in between working full-time, being a full-time mom and wife she moonlights as an author.

Having always loved to read she understands readers and writers share the common love of a great story. Anything dealing with Vampires, Witches, and Greek Mythology, she loves. Mostly of her books are Paranormal Romance with suspense and a little humor, but she’s not limiting herself to just that.
