About Me

My name is Nancy Medina, but I write under the pseudonym of Lissette E. Manning. I’m 33 years old and hail from Connecticut. I’ve lived here for most of life, but have traveled around here and there. Not out of the country, mind you, but around the U.S. There are places that I’d like to visit some day. I hope to make that dream a reality.
I’m almost always cheery, unless you catch me on a bad day – which isn’t often.
I spend most of my free time writing, trying to place my thoughts into order and giving life to the stories that are always brewing inside of my head. I’ve been writing since I was eight years old and have been trying ever since to make something of it. I confess that it hasn’t been easy with the many obstacles that have littered this path that I’ve been taking.
I also enjoy listening to music, playing the occasional video game, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
I’m also a bit of a computer geek. I can build/take apart computers, among other things. I view this as a hobby of mine.
I tend to write Romance Novels and poetry, but loving dabbling in other genres, too. I’m currently working on several Science Fiction/Fantasy stories, as well as a thriller.
Occasionally, I find myself writing fan fiction for things I’ve seen/like, such as Chronicles of Narnia, Twilight, and The Man In The Iron Mask – to name a few. This, of course, is for my own pleasure, as sometime writing about something else helps me when I have a writer’s block with my own work.

Hello Nancy.
I’ve enjoy chatting with you. You are penciled in for Dec. 10th. I will send you a reminder about a week before the scheduled show, Mostly to remid me, about the show The Call-in number is 1 (917) 889-2089, the show goes live at 10:30 AM West Coast Time. You can call-in around 10:30 AM, we will talk for about 20 minutes. On my show we talk about the process of writing: how you get all those words on the page, your passion, how did you get published and the magic of it all. We do the show live on the internet air waves.

Awesome. Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
I’ve jotted down the number to have it ready when the time comes. I’m looking forward to it. It’s a pleasure to be a part of it.
:)
Dear Nancy –
I hear from Roxanne Rhoads of Bewitching Book Tours that you’ve agreed to be one of the hosts for my upcoming virtual book tour. I just wanted to say — hello, and thank you! (We have a fair amount in common. I’m from Connecticut originally, although I’ve wandered about quite a bit; and I’m also a fan of both The Chronicles of Narnia and Twilight. You might enjoy the book I’m reading: The Magician’s Book, A Skeptic’s Adventures in Narnia, by Laura Miller.)
If you want to learn more about me beforehand, you can drop by my website at http://www.KarenAWyle.net.
Happy post-Thanksgiving –
Karen A. Wyle
Hi Karen. It’s a pleasure to meet you and indeed I am. I’m looking forward to the upcoming tour.
That’s so awesome – that you’re originally from here, as well. Quite lovely to see that we’ve a bit in common. I’ll definitely look into that book. It sounds quite interesting.
Thanks for the link to your site. Will swing by soon. I appreciate it very much. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It’s truly a blessing to have met you. I hope you have a great weekend.
Hi Nancy,
My name is KaSonndra Leigh and I’m also one of Roxanne’s clients you’ve agreed to host on my release day blitz December 6th. I’d like to say hola and I’m also a naturally cheery person. So it’s always a pleasure to meet another well-versed in the art of being kind. :-D
What did you want to do for the release day? Interview, cover promo, excerpt (all of the above? LoL) Whatever you choose, we’ll make it fun.
Yours in Prose,
KaSonndra Leigh
